Artist's Profile
James Celano holds a degree in Art and Art History from the University of Delaware and after studying at Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and National Academy of Design, graduated from Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in 1983.
James moved to Greensboro in 1992 and although he continued to paint he did not pursue exhibiting his work until recently. He exhibited in numerous juried shows and at Gallery 479 in Old City, Philadelphia before moving from there to Greensboro.
He is represented in North Carolina by Ambleside Gallery, Greensboro and Somerhill Gallery in Chapel Hill.
